On the main page of the Blessed Trinity Catholic High School website, one can read three simple words -  explore, imagine and engage.  While these words express realistic goals for every student they also express the goals of the Roman Catholic Church present in this school.

The Church teaches us that the Eucharist is the sign of unity and the bond of charity among us.  It is our hope within the Office of Campus Ministry that every student will see the powerful love and acceptance of Jesus in their lives as well as in the lives of those around them.  Since the celebration of the Eucharist calls all of us to action, we all pray that we can truly imitate the great Mystery that we hold and take into ourselves.

What better way for us as Catholics to begin our day and to end our day than to come together as a community to celebrate the Eucharist!  On Thursdays, students are encouraged to come to Mass in the morning and to recite the Mysteries of the Holy Rosary in the afternoon.  On Fridays during the Holy Season of Lent, the Stations of the Cross are prayed with the school community.  On the days that are scheduled for Confessions, the Blessed Sacrament is exposed as well as on every Wednesday during the school year.  Every month, the school community comes together to celebrate an All-school Mass at 9:00 a.m. in the Gymnasium.  This gives the entire school community an opportunity to come together to be moved, transformed and strengthened by the celebration of the Sacred Mysteries as we live out our faith in the hallways of BT and in the paths of life.

Students, teachers, staff, administration and anyone who is associated with the school are invited to come and to pray in our Chapel.  Masses are celebrated for various sports teams and clubs.  The Sacrament of Penance (known as "Confession" or "Reconciliation") is available for all members of the BT school community and on the days scheduled for the Sacrament of Penance, priests throughout the diocese come to BT's Chapel to celebrate this great gift of God's love and mercy for our school community.  Twice a month, the Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick is celebrated within Mass for any member of our school community and extended community who stands in the need of the healing that only Jesus, the Divine Physician, can give to anyone who is suffering.

The Office of Campus Ministry also offers Days of Recollection for our freshmen and sophomore students.  These days are an opportunity for these young men and women to be formed by the Holy Spirit so that they all can grow in courage to answer the Universal Call to Holiness.  Campus Ministry also offers a retreat for Upper Classmen (junior and seniors) with the realistic goal of empowering them with the gifts needed to make good, responsible and more importantly - holy choices - in their lives as they transition from teenage years to young adult years.

Therefore, the Office of Campus Ministry is called to be in dialogue with every fabric of this school community so that we can together:

Imagine:  how we can change this world through
the presence of Jesus in our souls!

Engage:  the challenges of life knowing that with the power of the Holy Spirit,
"we can do all things through Christ" who gives us strength!
